1105 Clerical Jobs Vacancies Released by Oriental Bank of Commerce

Oriental bank of Commerce has announced for 1105 clerical vacancies. Interested candidate are invited to apply online for these vacancies. These vacancies are available on basis of states. One candidate can apply only from one state and he can appear examination centre of only that state.


Important dates related to OBC clerical vacancies:


  • Online registration date: Between 25.10.2010 to 24.11.2010
  • Fee payment date: 25.10.2010 to 24.11.2010
  • Written examination date: 09.01.2011

Application fee (including Postal charge):


  • For SC/ST/PWD/XS – Rs. 50/-
  • For General/OBC – Rs. 300/-

Eligibility Criteria:


  • Candidates with graduation degree in any class or Intermediate degree of minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply for OBC clerical vacancies. But your educational qualification must be from a recognized college or university.
  • Candidates must have basis computer knowledge at the time of selection.
  • Age Limit: Minimum – 18 years Maximum 28 years (As on 1-10-2010) Relaxation on age in available on basis of Indian government criteria


Selection Procedure: Selection for OBC clerical post will be based on result of written examination test and interview. Written examination will include both objective and subjective type questions. Selected candidates in written examination will call for interviews. Final selection will be based on the basis of written test result and interview results.

How to apply for OBC clerical vacancies: Interested candidates can apply online for the post by visiting website of Oriental Bank of Commerce. Before that candidates are needed to deposit fee in any OBC branch. Candidates must have a copy of receipt or ‘challan’ while filling online application. You are requested to provide correct information in application form. Any wrong information can make you disqualified from the selection.

Candidates can receive call letter for written examination at their correspondence address. They are advised to visit on examination centre at specified date and time.

At Last: One last but important thing is that you have to prepare well for selection. This is a competitive exam and only passing in the exam is not enough for selection. You have to qualify for merit list for final selection.
