State Bank of India announced for 2010-11 clerical staff selection examination. There are 6100 vacancies of clerks in associate banks of SBI. You can apply online for this post by login on bank website www.sbi.co.in. No any other means of application will be accepted by the bank.
Vacancies: State bank of India invites online applications for 6100 SBI clerical vacancies in associate banks of SBI. Clerical vacancies of SBI are available in State bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, State bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Patiala and State Bank of Travancore. State wise seats in all these banks are different.
Important dates related to SBI jobs in India clerical exam 2010-11
- Fee deposit date: Deposit your fee from 1.10.2010 to 30.10.2010
- Online registration date: Register online from 1.10.2010 to 1.11.2010
- Written Examination date: 16.1.2010 on Sunday
Application fee (including Postal charge):
- SC/ST/PWD/XS – Rs. 50/-
- Others – Rs. 350/-
Eligibility criteria (to be calculated on 1.10.2010)
- Any candidate with minimum 60% marks in 12th standard or 40% marks at graduation level or with any diploma course with minimum 60% marks after 10th standard is eligible to apply for this post. But only 55% marks is required for ST/SC/PWD/XS candidates whereas for graduation level it is only 35% for candidates of same category.
- Minimum age requirement is 18 years and maximum candidate with 28 years can apply for SBI clerical jobs. There is 5 year age relaxation for SC/ST candidates and 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates.
Selection Procedure: If you are satisfied needs of SBI then you can apply online for SBI clerical job. After qualifying written examination you will have to qualify interview for final selection. You can give written exam either Hindi or in English. Written test will consist of objective type question in General Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and Marketing Aptitude/Computer Knowledge. You should reply for questions carefully because there is negative marking of ¼ for each wrong answer. You will get detail information on it in a booklet provided to you with your call letter for written examination.

Important: You can apply only for one bank or one state. You can select examination centre once during applying inline after that no any request will be accepted by the bank related to change of examination centre.
